Shortly after starting the wireless store concepts in November of 2011, I was approached to create a series of shoe fixtures for Rocket Dog. Based off the creative brief I received, I decided to develop the fixtures around a steel structure similar to what I had developed for Reef. Once I had chosen a format for the fixtures I focused on making the headers and side panels distinctive to Rocket Dog. My original submission of fixtures in late 2011 included narrow fixture and slatwall concepts, but was asked in May 2012 to add a mid-size and large freestanding fixture to the range.
In September of 2012, I was approached by my client to revise and update the fixture renderings for Reef that I had created in the last quarter of 2011. The newly rendered fixtures have been created to support the Reef Redemption program which has the goal of lowering their overall impact on the environment. The newly rendered fixtures include sandal as well as apparel fixtures and illustrate the concept of the Redemption program by utilizing reclaimed woods, and bare metals.

The Sunset House in southern West Virginia was built by Lilah and Nick using lumber reclaimed from a barn on their property which was cut and milled from the land by the previous owner many years ago. All the windows are reclaimed from junkyards over their history of thrifting together. More pictures.
